Good Study Habits!

Hello my study buddies! I hope you all are well, and I would like to discuss some better habits to lead to better studying!

   FOCUS!

First off when you study it's best to put away all of your devices (except the ones you take notes on) so you don't get distracted with from studying with notifications. This will allow you to be able to be more focused.

    ORGANIZING!

Next to be organized try to create a study schedule. To keep track of when you are busy/when you are available. Doing this will make help study in a more efficient way and in a not untidy way.

TEST YOUR SELF!

My personal favorite way to study is to make a review test or quiz. This helps me personally to practice my skills on problem solving.

 BREAK TIME!

It always good to take breaks. Taking breaks can actually help your brain function again because if you're just sitting around on your desk stressing about your studies. Then you won't be able to work/function properly which will lead to a waste of study time. Which isn't good because if you're like me I would want to use all of my study time on actual studying.

REST!

This is similar to having break time. But getting a good and comfortable sleep can improve and show how you will be studying today. For example, If you sleep very late and didn't get a good night sleep. Then you are leading yourself to a less focused study day. But if you do sleep at the right time (8:30) then you would be leading yourself to a wonderful day of studying!

ASK FOR HELP!

I know that this skill might a struggle for many students. Especially for ones that are cautious of themselves. But ask for help with something you don't understand to a teacher can help you understand what you need help with more. And don't worry I was one of those type of students who don't want to ask a teacher for help. So I can relate to the struggle that these students are going through. But I learned that if you never as for help you will never ever learn. And you would still be questioning that question forever.

GOALS!

When you study try to set a goal on what you want to achieve while studying  or study for a certain amount of time. Setting a goal can get your mind motivated to do your goal until you finally reach it.

REWARD!

Finally, after you finish your goal if you are like me you would defiantly want a reward after all the grinding and hard work. For example, you could go out to a restaurant and treat yourself, buy something nice for yourself, hangout with some friends, etc. As long as you are doing something nice for yourself after your goal. Then you are defiantly giving yourself a reward.

So I hope you guys and girls will consider doing at least one or two of the eight good study habits I have said. Also if guys and girls want me to post a study habit, study method you are doing, or study tips that you think will help other students. Then make sure to leave a comment! And if you are seeing this blog and thinking that you might want to send this to another student that might be struggling. Then please send the link to them. I would defiantly like this blog to reach every student that is struggling! But for now I'll you all in the next blog!
